Who We Are
Sajen.org, Inc. was founded in 2015 with a vision to address oral health disparities on both local and global scales. Our mission is to promote and provide oral health information to priority populations include veterans, low-income children, the elderly, and disabled individuals through fostering partnerships, advocating for equitable healthcare by promoting innovation, evidence-based community research and strategies. We are dedicated and passionate to the pursuit of oral health equity and ensuring that priority populations have access to the care they need.
What We Do
Our organization emphasizes collaboration with local community partners to provide evidence-based community events on dental health, general well-being, and brain health. We take pride in distributing essential dental hygiene resources—such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and educational materials—to empower communities with knowledge and tools for better oral health. Over the years, we have extended our efforts not only close to home in New Bedford and Boston area but also internationally in St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Bhutan, India, and Nepal. Through these initiatives, we have successfully provided a substantial number of dental supplies and educational resources to both local and global schools and organizations.
The Future
Looking forward, Sajen.org, Inc. is on a mission to establish transformative community health centers in Siliguri, India, and New Bedford, Massachusetts, USA. These centers will be a beacon of collaboration among healthcare professionals, including doctors, dentists, medical students, and dental students, empowering them to work or volunteer in delivering essential oral healthcare education and vital treatments to priority populations. We believe that these initiatives and innovations will help forge stronger, healthier communities for all.
